MANILA, Philippines — Significant road closures around the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and San Beda University are scheduled for closure this September to facilitate the peaceful and orderly administration of the 2025 Bar Examinations.
According to advisories from the Manila Police District, the closures will be in effect on Sept. 7, 10, and 14, 2025.
In the UST area, three major adjustments will be implemented:

-Dapitan Street will be fully closed from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m..
-The two outmost westbound lanes of España Boulevard (from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) will be closed from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

-Extremadura Street will also be closed from 2 a.mm. to 7 p.m..
Motorists are advised to use the alternate route from Dapitan: turn right to Lacson Avenue, then left to Laong Laan Avenue to reach their destination.
Near San Beda University in Mendiola, a stricter closure scheme will be enforced from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same dates. The affected areas are:, This news data comes from:http://www.ycyzqzxyh.com
In Mendiola Street from the Peace Arch to Concepcion Aguila Street, both lanes will be closed to unauthorized traffic, and the lanes on the San Beda side will also be closed to all pedestrians.
Concepcion Aguila Street from Mendiola to Jose Laurel Street will be closed to all unauthorized vehicles and pedestrians, except for residents.
To accommodate examinees, one eastbound lane on Legarda Street (from San Rafael Street to Mendiola Street) will be dedicated as a drop-off and pick-up point. The main ingress points for stakeholders will be the Main Gate on Legarda Street and St. Bede’s Gate on Concepcion Aguila Street.
The public is advised to plan their routes accordingly, expect heavy traffic in the surrounding areas, and follow the instructions of traffic enforcers on-site.
